Call for Applications – Scarce Skills Scholarship Programme for Masters and PhD students registered for 2011 at South African universities
Dear Designated Authorities dealing with NRF Scholarships and Fellowships
The NRF are pleased to announce the Scarce Skills Scholarship Programme for Masters and PhD students registered for 2011 at South African universities within specific scarce skills areas. The fields supported under this programme are:

·         Management:

Economic and Management Sciences, Financial Management

·         Financial sector:

Accounting, Auditing, Statistics, Actuarial Science

·         Biological sciences:

Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology,

·         Physical sciences:

Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Geology, Computer Science, Demography, Information Systems, Chemistry

·         Engineering

·         Sector specific:
Agricultural Scienc

Transportation

Tourism

The application deadline is the 30 June  funding   Applicants must apply online at: http://phoenweb.nrf.ac.za/FPF2/ and follow the application procedure set out in the call document.
