Eligible candidates:
Mid-career professionals with at least three years work experience; who are nationals of and working and living in one of the developing countries on the NFP list; who are nominated by their employer and endorse the objective and the aim of the NFP. The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Abidjan is closed. For the time being it is therefore not possible fo people from Ivory Coast to apply for the NFP.

The overall aim of the NFP is to help alleviate qualitative and quantitative shortages of skilled manpower within a wide range of governmental, private and non-governmental organizations. This by offering fellowships to mid-career professionals to improve the capacity of their employing oranizations. The need for trainings has to be evident within the contaxt of an organization.

Value and purpose of grant: The fellowship can cover the costs of tuiton fees, visas, travel, insurance and thesis research. Different conditions may apply to e-learning courses or programmes.

Grant award period: 9-24 months

Closing date: the 1st of February 2011, the 20th of April 2011, 1st of October 2011
