MASTERS AND DOCTORAL SCHOLARSHIPS IN SOUTH AFRICA POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

 The Scholarship Holder may not be in formal employment, part-time or full-time. These scholarships are made available to students who are in possession of at least an honours degree, and wish to obtain a Masters or Doctoral degree in health sciences. Preference will be given to candidates who will undertake their research under supervision of MRC-funded researchers. Candidates must be South African citizens or in possession of a permanent residence permit issued by the state department concerned before the application will be considered.

TWAS Scholarship Prizes for Africans at University of CapeTown South Africa

TWAS Prizes
Each year the Academy awards eight prizes of US$15,000 each to individual scientists who have been working and living in a developing country for at least ten years. The Prizes are given in the following eight fields of science: agricultural sciences, biology, chemistry, earth sciences, engineering sciences, mathematics, medical sciences and physics. Deadline: 31 March.
